All of our physical therapists have extensive experience treating orthopedic conditions using evidence-based guidelines. Most importantly, our therapists are kind, empathetic, and our primary goal is getting you back to your daily activities.
Ashley Juhnke
Propietario, fisioterapeuta
Ashley earned her B.S. from UC Davis in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior in 2011. She went on to graduate with highest honors from West Coast University receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During her doctorate program Ashley served as a Class Representative and earned the Academic Achievement Award. Ashley started working as an aide for Solano Sports in 2012, and after several years of working as a staff therapist at Solano Sports after graduate school, she has transitioned to owner. When she is not at work Ashley spends her time with her husband, their 3 year old daughter, and golden retriever Shasta. As a family they spend a lot of time trying new local eateries and breweries or visiting the Farmer's Market.

Michael Kassis
Fisioterapeuta
Michael's educational journey started at Shasta High School, class of '87, in Redding, California. He then enrolled at U.C. Davis where he played football for the Aggies and received his undergraduate B.S. in Exercise Science '92. From there he attended Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California where he received his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy '95. New grad life had him working for Davis Orthopedic & Sport Physical Therapy as well as Kaiser Vallejo. Next stop, Solano Sports Physical Therapy in Vacaville and 25 years later, it appears to be his last.

He enjoys treating all orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Total knees, hips (Michael has had both of his hips replaced), shoulders, ankles and elbows.
​
Michael has a passion for sports and sports injuries. He has been closely involved with modern approaches to rehabilitation for all ages and all injuries. He treats all ages of athletes and over the years has cared for the local high school athlete, the weekend tough mudder and professional athletes.
​
He has specialization in industrial, work related injuries and has over 15 years of industrial consulting in safety and ergonomics.
​
Michael and his wife Lisa have 6 children, Jacob, Jesse, Alexa, Carly, Kristen and Joey. Four grandchildren Lena, Beckham, Carter and Evander, one horse Pepper, multiple chickens, 2 cats Cheeto and Pismo and one amazing English Cream Retriever named Blake.

Hobbies include bass fishing, BBQ cookoffs, everything Philadelphia Phillies and Dallas Cowboys and volunteering with Vacaville High School's football team. He has been an assistant coach for 18 years serving as linebackers coach and co-defensive coordinator.
​
He is also a proud member of the Cornhole for Cole foundation which provides numerous scholarships for Vacaville and Will C. Wood seniors.
